Our new event center will help support children who have developmental disabilities, those who have experienced abuse and neglect, and the trauma of a mass shooting in our community. JAFCO’s mission is to provide care, safety and support to children and their families within the Jewish community and beyond who are impacted by abuse, neglect, trauma, or developmental disabilities…giving every child a place to belong.

We are all connected in this very special world, one in which all of us together are committed to acts of love and kindness, a world dedicated to helping others, where every child and every family in our community receives the love, commitment and compassion they need. We are always there for one another… 8 days a week.
JAFCO Children’s Village programs touch the lives of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The JAFCO Children’s Village campus provides an actual home to over 100 children each year in our emergency shelter or group homes, and is the only center of its kind in the Jewish community in the nation. Another 500 children each year find safety in either our foster care, adoption or family preservation programs.

JAFCO Children’s Ability Center pprovides family enrichment, resources, and respite to families raising a child with a developmental disability. The center is open seven days a week to provide support to over 500 children a year starting on the day of diagnosis up to age 22. We are there to support the entire family including parents, grandparents and typical siblings.

Eagles’ Haven Wellness Center oopened in March 2019 to rediscover wellness and restore hope to the Parkland/Coral Springs community following the tragic school shooting. To begin the healing process, our compassionate clinical team provides wellness experiences, yoga, creative art classes, meditation, dance, crisis support, case management, support groups, free of charge to nearly 700 students, parents and teachers, all in one beautiful spa-like setting.

JAFCO FamilyMatters, a JAFCO Support Network, offers specialized case management and support services to assist families in times of crisis in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. We serve families who are facing the impact of trauma and challenges including: mental health and substance abuse issues, divorce and custody issues, grandparents or relatives caring for children, single parenthood, or raising children with special needs. We focus on strengthening and empowering families to overcome these challenges.
